Coming home

After 4 days, mom was finally ready to leave the hospital. We were very happy to take our baby home. We bundled him up in his car seat and packed up all our stuff.

I didn't have to ride in a wheelchair, but a nurse did escort us to our car and check that we buckled Andrew into his car seat.

Andrew liked his first car ride. At first, he looked calmly out the window. In about 5 minutes, he fell asleep and arrived safely at home shortly after.


I made sure Andrew fit in his bassinet. :) But he fell asleep in his swing while mom relaxed, watching a movie.
