Painting

We drove the bed back to my house and put it in the basement. I finished filling in all the bumps and cracks with wood putty and sanded it all down.

I got a lot of it painted in the first week! The primer, red and black paint went on easily. I still have to paint the bumpers chrome (spray paint) and paint the windshield and ladders.

 

We ran into some real firemen at Dunkin' Donuts, and when I told them about Sean's new bed, they gave the boys firemen hats!
